Hard Stuff
Regardless of the lovely August weather, some days I hit an energy wall. Les, my hubby, and I take hormone drugs; he to keep his prostate cancer at bay and I to prevent the return of breast cancer. He handles his better than I handle mine. I am the one, who looks at him and says, “Gosh, I don’t like feeling this fatigued” and he logically and reasonably responds, “Then have a nap” - and I do.

I feel excited about co-leading the Return to Center: A Six-Week Calgary Support and Healing Group. I so appreciate your support of my work and hope you will let others know about this soooo economical, yet impactful, opportunity. There are FOUR spots left! See details below.
Referring to the above Hard Stuff, as a raving extrovert I perk right up when someone comes to the door — neighbours, clients for counselling, friends, even a solicitor. The same happens when we go to Sunday service or out socializing.
A couple of weeks ago, I made a Facebook post inviting people, if they were near cenral Calgary, to bring their lunch and visit me in the garden. People came!
It was lovely to spend time with you Elissa, Adette, Shelley, Louise, and Alnoor.
Here’s to your continued resilience!
